Terms of Service

No sign-up required to start. Anyone can email a @lumbergh.io address to begin a project. An account is automatically created based on your email address when you first interact withLumbergh.

Authentication. We use magic links sent to your email address. There are no passwords.

One person per account. Your account is tied to your email address. You are responsible for any activity originating from your email address.

Adding others. You may CC other people on emails to Lumbergh. Those people will only receive further communications from Lumbergh if they choose to engage by replying to their intro email or joining in their dashboard. Participation is opt-in. Anyone can opt out of all Lumbergh emails permanently with a single click via a link in any email from Lumbergh.

Getting started credits. New users receive 50K starter tokens.

Paid plans. Continued use requires a paid subscription ($4.99/month) plus usage-based AI token charges. Current pricing is listed on our website.

Bring Your Own Key. You may provide your own Anthropic API key. When you do this, AI processing costs are billed directly to you by Anthropic. Your API key is stored encrypted.

Domain restrictions. Unpaid usage is limited to major email providers (Gmail, iCloud, Outlook, Protonmail, Yahoo, etc.) to prevent abuse. Custom or corporate domains are available on paid plans.

You agree to use Lumbergh only for lawful purposes. Because Lumbergh is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI, you must also comply with Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy.

You may not use Lumbergh to:

• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk email
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other participants
• Transmit malware, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
• Use the service for any activity prohibited by Anthropic's Acceptable Use Policy

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Lumbergh operates over email. This means your email provider's terms, deliverability, and spam filters apply. We are not responsible for emails that fail to deliver due to your provider, spam filters, or network issues.

Emails are transmitted over TLS where supported. Emails that fail SPF, DKIM, or DMARC validation may be rejected.

We enforce rate limits of 60 emails per sender per hour and 120 emails per project per hour. Emails exceeding these limits will be rejected.

Your email content — including message text, subject lines, and attachment metadata — is sent to Anthropic's API for processing by Claude. Per Anthropic's API policy, API inputs are not used to train their models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.

Lumbergh is powered by Claude from Anthropic and upgrades to newer models as they become available. AI outputs are generated responses — they may contain errors, and you should not rely on them as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

We comply with applicable email laws, including CAN-SPAM. We do not permit spam or abusive use of the service.

Every email from Lumbergh includes an opt-out link. You can report abuse or policy violations by emailing support@lumbergh.io.

You retain ownership of any content you send to Lumbergh. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content as necessary to operate the service — including sending it to Anthropic's API and forwarding communications to project participants.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you send to Lumbergh, including content that involves or references other people.

Lumbergh is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on any output from Lumbergh.
